Skirmish at Fort Harker

Each Spring, the historic Fort Harker in Stevenson transforms into a living Civil War encampment for the annual Skirmish at Fort Harker. Built in 1862 by Union troops and freed slaves, the fort provides an authentic backdrop for this immersive event.

Enjoy a full weekend of activities, including:

• Battle reenactments at 2:00 p.m. each day
• Authentic Union and Confederate encampments with soldiers, civilians, and artisans
• Demonstrations of drills, camp life, and historic trades
• Period vendors, food booths, and live music
