Just behind the museum begins the walking trail, a scenic path that leads to a restored 600-foot railroad bridge converted for pedestrian use. The bridge offers stunning views of the Tennessee River and sits beside an active rail line—visitors often enjoy waving to passing trains and catching the occasional horn from friendly conductors.

The trail is approximately 0.8 miles one way, mostly flat and easy to walk, with shaded areas and river overlooks. For those who prefer less walking, you can also drive and park near the bridge entrance, making it accessible for all ages and mobility levels.
