The 24th Annual Catfish Festival will be held on May 17, starting at 8 a.m. at Jackson County Park. The event is a rain or shine event, with plenty of activities and catfish scheduled for all to enjoy.
Catfish Festival is a 501(c)3 event, with the funds raised going between several organizations, including the boy scouts, church ministries and community needs.
There will be vendors with food or arts and crafts, a car show, inflatables, trains, pony rides and a free area for kids to play. Live music will be played by the Bowman’s throughout the day. The catfish plates will be provided by Captain D’s. People will also be able to fish during the event.
