Castin’ ‘N Catchin’ Fishing Tournament

The Castin’ ‘N Catchin’ Charity Fishing Tournament is an annual community fishing event benefiting the Pediatric & Congenital Heart Center of Alabama at Children’s of Alabama. Anglers from across the region gather for a day of competition on Lake Guntersville, with all proceeds supporting lifesaving research, care, and programs for children with congenital and acquired heart conditions.

The tournament includes a family-friendly Kids Fun Zone and expo, competition with a top grand prize, and additional activities throughout the day. Registration is open online, and anglers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.

Proceeds from Castin’ ‘N Catchin’ have helped fund full-time research assistance, clinical care improvements, and educational support programs for cardiac patients and their families.
