Memorial Day Program

The annual Memorial Day Program will take place on Monday, May 26, to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County with a wreath-laying ceremony, followed by light refreshments at the American Legion and VFW Post Hall. Patriotic music by the Scottsboro Community Band will begin at 10:45 a.m. at Collins Intermediate School, with the main program starting at 11:00 a.m. The keynote speaker will be Major General Lori Robinson, Commanding General of AMCOM at Redstone Arsenal.
