Paddle the Parks

Join us for Paddle the Parks, a free, beginner-friendly paddle experience on Saturday, June 20 at 9:00 a.m. at Jackson County Park in Scottsboro.

This scenic 3.5-mile route will take paddlers from Jackson County Park to Scottsboro City Park and back, offering a relaxed way to experience the beauty of Lake Guntersville. Whether you are new to paddling or just looking for a fun morning on the water, this event is perfect for all skill levels.

Free rental kayaks and gear will be available, or feel free to bring your own.

After the paddle, stick around and enjoy free food and refreshments from KC’s BBQ, plus live music to keep the celebration going. It is a great opportunity for families, friends, and outdoor enthusiasts to come together and enjoy one of Jackson County’s best assets.

This event is free, but registration is requested.
