44th Annual Scottsboro / Goose Pond Colony 4th of July Celebration — Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday

Mark your calendars for the patriotic event of the decade! Scottsboro and Goose Pond Colony Resort, nestled along the Tennessee River, are proud to host Alabama’s longest-running Fourth of July celebration — the 44th Annual Scottsboro / Goose Pond Colony 4th of July Celebration, proudly celebrating America’s 250th birthday!
This year’s event is proudly sponsored by Goose Pond Colony Resort, The City of Scottsboro, The Docks Restaurant, and America 250 AL – American Village Citizenship Trust.
This year’s event will be the biggest ever held in Scottsboro. For the first time ever, it’s a two-day music festival featuring live music on both Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, 2026. This year’s festivities will be centered in the area behind The Docks Restaurant to give concert-goers prime views of both the stage and the breathtaking water-based fireworks show. The spectacular fireworks display — the largest in the history of our event — will light up the sky on Saturday, July 4, at approximately 9:00 PM and will feature a special 250th finale that we hope will turn the sky into a canvas of unforgettable moments.
